Cabanyal Beach Will Be Getting A Big Summer Market

Among the many attractions on offer this summer, the Cabanyal beach will have a brand new craft market selling handicrafts and beach items until late at night.

The installation of a craft market on the Playa Las Arenas has been approved by the local government. The market will have 31 stalls and will be held on a regular basis going forward.

The only items that the general public and tourists will be able to purchase on the Cabanyal beach will be handicrafts such as leather goods, jewellery, ceramics, beach items, sunglasses (which must include the corresponding approval with the CE mark), plates, drawings, paintings, or wooden items.

The items for sale must be made by hand and using traditional techniques, with no intervention from an industrial process.

There will be one exception: because the Cabanyal beach is a beach, not a shopping centre, items with summer character, such as swimwear, hats, flip flops, beach balls, towels, hammocks, floats, cuffs, poles, shovels, rakes, water pistols, beach bags and baskets, will be allowed to be sold.

The sale activity on Cabanyal Beach will begin on June 1, 2022, and will end on September 30, 2022. The sale will be permitted between the hours of 11 a.m. and 23 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday.
