The doyenne of TV reviewing Jaci Stephen (Daily Mirror, Mail on Sunday, Daily Mail) is to join the editorial team at The Valencian…
Jaci Stephen is the doyenne of TV reviewing, having been writing about UK TV for the nationals for some 35 years, including the Daily Mirror, Mail on Sunday, and the Daily Mail, where she continues to write a TV column for Weekend Magazine. Now she is to join the team at The Valencian (valencian.es), an English-language publication (though it is also available in eight other languages) with a column on TV available in Spain called Jaci’s Box.
Editor Eugene Costello says: “To have persuaded someone of the calibre and experience of Jaci is a major coup for us, and her unique take on Spanish television, along with her wicked sense of humour, will be a tonic for English-speakers over here.”
Jaci says: “Though a New York resident, current research projects are providing me with the opportunity to enjoy more time in Spain, especially Valencia, and I am very excited to be joining The Valencian and immersing myself in Spanish culture.”
As well as bringing her unique and hilarious take on the world of TV and entertainment, Jaci will also be writing features about travel and culture, and sharing her riotously funny anecdotes about her life, and brushes with all and sundry, from celebrities to sinners, with a new audience.
Watch out for her first one that involves Theo Paphitis, a luxury yacht and a €10,000 Chloé dress…
