As it stands now, Gaspatxo Rock Festival will be held this year in Ayora on the19th of February, as one of only a few live concert events organised in the Province of Valencia in recent times.
This February, Gazpatxo Rock Festival will fill the streets of Ayora with the sound of guitars and lyrics. Now in its 16th edition, this year’s line-up boasts an unmissable selection of artists. Transport is being organised to the festival from Albacete, Valencia and Almansa so according to the organisers, there is no excuse not to be there. If only it were that simple.
Gazpatxo Rock Festival will take place in Ayora, in the province of Valencia, and will feature some of the biggest names in Spanish music, including Zoo, Desakato, El ultimo ke zierre, Tropa do Carallo, Manifa, Porretas, Lisasinson, and Rokavieja. The program features both legendary artists and up-and-coming Valencian bands.
The venerable Evaristo Paramos and his current band Tropa do Carallo will perform songs from their recently released album. Lisasinson, a graphic/music project from Valencia’s Fine Arts Faculty, will also take the stage to perform their fresh fusion of punk and pop in a style dubbed punki pop.
Zoo (from Gandia) will get you up and dancing with their mix of electro beats, rap, breakbeat, reggaeton, rock, and ska. Meanwhile, El ultimo ke zierre (from Burriana) will demonstrate their mastery of punk rock and punchy lyrics. Desakato (from Spain’s Asturias region) will put on a show with their difficult-to-define music, whose lyrics convey important messages.
The Gazpatxo Rock Festival will be one of the few chances to see local bands perform live.
The concert was announced before the Province’s health situation worsened, but let’s hope that the current situation improves significantly before the middle of February and that it is not cancelled.
