In the summertime, we always feel like staying in open areas, outdoors. And this year, with even more reason!
Can you think of anything better to beat the heat than sitting on a terrace and spending a pleasant evening among friends?
Well, keep reading, because we’ve brought you the four new summer terraces that you can’t miss in Valencia.
1.Terraza Obento, in Casino Cirsa
Relax in the area that the Cirsa València Casino has prepared for you this summer: Terraza Obento.
There you can enjoy a great dinner menu, sitting outdoors, with delicious dishes such as eggplant sticks in batter with honey and orange sauce or cod confit on pea and ginger cream with fried cherry tomatoes.
Throughout the month of August, the terrace will be open from Thursday to Saturday, from 9pm to 11.30pm, although you must book in advance (900 208 308) as the maximum capacity is 18 people.
2. El Huerto, by Begoña Rodrigo
From 5 August, the new terrace of the chef Begoña Rodrigo, next to the new location of La Salita (Pedro III El Grande), will delight those who come to the Ruzafa neighbourhood in Valencia. In El Huerto you will find a menu specialized in vegetables, in the most recent bet of the Michelin star awarded in its first restaurant. Enjoy the garden with an excellent decoration and do not resist to try also the rice, fish from the fish market, the options with Galician cow or the selection of Joselito Ibérico ham from their menu.
3. Terrace of the Hotel Palais Vallier
Incredible views from the Plaza de Manises – next to the Palau de la Generalitat Valenciana -, on the heights of a five-star hotel. That’s what you’ll find, if you go to the summer terrace of the Hotel Palacio Vallier.
Open every day of the week from 7:30 am to 0:30 am, you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner there, choosing one or several dishes from its extensive menu, or simply have a drink in good company and disconnect at the end of the day.
When you have decided to go, you’d better book (960 66 13 06); avoid running out of a table.
4. Terraza Green Rooftop, in the NH Collection València Colón
Located in the highest part of the NH Collection València Colón Hotel is the Green Rooftop terrace, a perfect space to go to relax, after an intense day of tourism in the capital of the Turia.
It is open from Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 1 am, and on any of those days, between 8 pm and 10.30 pm, you can have dinner with the cold dishes (salmon or Russian salad, for example) and hot dishes (clams, among others) on the menu. And if what you want is to refresh yourself, a good cocktail will surely do you good, on one of these hot summer days.
