You’re in luck if you enjoy graphic novels: The Salon del Comic de Valencia will be held in Valencia soon, with an impressive lineup of events and activities.
The organisers claim that this year’s Salon del Comic de Valencia will be better than ever. The graphic novel fair, which takes place on March 4, 5, and 6, is being promoted with an incredible poster designed by Cristina Duran, a renowned Valencian illustrator who has published novels such as Una posibilidad entre mil and La máquina de Efrén.
The Salon del Comic de Valencia will take place over three days at Feria València. The fair is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and tickets are available at the box office and on the event website. Prices vary depending on the time and day of the entrance.
The event promises to transport you to the world of graphic novels. The event will be attended by over 211 exhibitors, 20 publishers, 80 artists, and 120 writers from both Spain and abroad. There will be plenty of big names and award winners (Eisner and National Graphic Novel awards) in attendance, including renowned Valencian artists Paco Roca, Cristina Durán, Miguel A. Giner, and Salva Espin. Daniel Torres, known for his serial Rocco Vargas, and Nazario, the father of Spanish underground comic, are also among the guests.
The show’s main attraction, however, will undoubtedly be Brian Azzarello, one of the most prominent US comic artists of this century.

He was also the author of the Watchmen prequel project Before Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns sequel series.
The Salón del Cómic de València will also put a spotlight on the film art.
